Magic Nails with Shiru!!

Hey guys. I have been away for a while but I have been busy hosting my family from out of town amongst other commitments. Anyway, I get asked about my nails a lot. I am not really big on make up (other than lipstick) but I definitely love having my nails looking fabulous. So I decided to dedicate this post to Shiru, the nail guru at Magic Nails.

I was referred to Shiru by my classmate last year and since then, there has been no turning back. Magic Nails is a nail bar located in Hurlingham, Lenana Road. I go to Shiru 1-2 times a month depending on my nail situation. I work with my natural nail, no acrylic extension whatsoever. Shiru just adds acrylic powder as the base before applying polish and this strengthens my nail and prevents breakage. After leaving Shiru's I can choose to change my polish at home whenever I feel like. The thing about the acrylic powder is that other than strengthening my nail, it also prevents the nail polish from chipping. Yes, I said that right, the nail polish does not chip and when the nail grows, you just put a fresh coat of paint and your good to go.

So I took this pics yesterday when I was at Magic Nails. If you are interested in having Shiru's number, just drop me an email and I will hook you up!

My nails minus the polish. I dont like my nails too long but Shiru knows the length I love. I hadn't been to see Shiru for a month hence the talons lol!

Almost achieving perfection.....

Voila!!! The end product!! The colour seems to be black but its actually plum...love it!
